Rafters are nailed to the plate. Tank is clean gas and lead free and ready for hot work. So this table could accommodate a house with a total rafter span or house width of 32 feet. Purlins as shown in sample photos below are installed for rafter support.

Rafters rafters make up the main framework of all roofs. I plan to have 2 10 joists so there will be a second floor.
